Fancott is in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, with beautiful walks on the doorstep along with its own railway there is lots to do on a visit to the pub.
Woburn Safari park is just a 15 minute drive away The pub has a The fabulous Shuttleworth with its collection of 20th Century aircraft and beautiful gardens is right on the doorstep, as are the beautiful Rowney Woodlands with some delightful woodland walks. Slightly further afield is the county town of Bedford., just a 25 minute drive. At the pub we welcome walkers and cyclists and well behaved dogs with drinks and bar snacks served daily. There is plenty of parking and both outdoor and indoor seating.

Dunstable has a lively events calendar with events going on all year around. Many of the attractions and activities in the town are highly rated and popular with visitors.
The busy Bedfordshire town of Luton is just a 20 minute drive from the pub.
Home to two museums including Stockwood discovery centre and Wardown House Museum and Gallery – housed in a grade II listed Victorian mansion in Wardown Park on the outskirts of the town centre with inspiring exhibitions throughout the year.
Quarter of an hour from the Pub is ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

Barton Hills are situated near the village of Barton-le-Clay in the beautiful Chilterns. The National Nature Reserve is a popular destination for families, walkers and wildlife enthusiasts with lots of walks to explore.
