A beautiful 17th century grade II listed building, first listed as an an unnamed Alehouse in 1876, in the county Register of Alehouse Licences.

The Fancott Arms became a fully licenced public house on 8th April 1949.

Interesting fact!

The miniature railway you see in the gardens once ran around the garden of one of our sister pubs The White Horse, Southill

From the publican to our amazing chefs,  our team are the beating heart of The Fancott Arms, Fancott

Take the time to get to know the faces behind bar, the notepad, and kitchen door and spark a conversation the next time you visit us.

The Fancott

General Manager Cathy has been at the Fancott Arms for around a year now and what a year its been! Full of amazing ideas including the very successful Fancott Fest in the summer (returning in 2023!), dog walks around the local area, curry nights, fish & fizz Fridays and lots more.   Cathy loves being front of house and interacting with her guests, when she isn’t at the pub she can normally be found spending time with her family at home in Norfolk & beating her son at Uno!

Jannine is one of our front of house team members and is a proud mum to her adorable 2 year old daughter. In her spare time, she loves creating memories with her daughter, visiting my family and watching crime documentaries. Jannine says ‘I enjoy working at the pub because it has a family friendly atmosphere, I work within a great team and I get to have adult conversations.’ (Most of the time!)
